Switching to the Paleolithic lifestyle can cause you to experience a variety of cravings for different foods that you may have been comforted with in the past. Mine was definitely pasta. Every time I went out to eat I’d usually grab some Chicken Alfredo or Shrimp Scampi, so it was hard for me to part with it.
We went a very long time without eating any sort of noodles. Usually just buying expensive freezer noodles made from almonds that only had enough to fill up one person **And we only got it for special occasions**!
Not anymore!! My Husband has officially mastered sweet potato noodles. YES, IT’S A THING. Sweet. Potato. NOODLES. For awhile it would be a 30 minute ordeal trying to spiralize just two sweet potatoes with a hand spiralizer and it was getting really frustrating for him to use.
But for Father’s Day my Husband received the Brieftons 5-Blade Spiralizer and it’s completely changed our meals! It takes 5 minutes to make THREE sweet potatoes worth of noodles and can feed us each with seconds to spare!
Once spiralized you heat a pan, add olive oil and toss for 5-7 minutes or until desired texture! Then that’s IT! Add whatever protein and/or sauces you desire and you’ve got yourself an amazing and filling meal!
You can also spiralize carrots, zucchini, or whatever else you can think of! It’s an INCREDIBLY versatile dish!
